For example, we have spared no expense when it comes to our lighting because we believe it's at least as important as having a good "eye" for a good picture.

At JACH Design, we guarantee that every one of our images is taken with such care that it's as close to the real thing as it's possible to get.

Lighting can make or break an image, which is why we take great pride in investing in some of the most highly-technical lighting systems available today, not to mention the most up-to-the-minute computer programs ensuring pin-point colour translation accuracy and management.

Anyone can point a camera at an object, press a button and call themselves a photographer, but at JACH Design, we know it's all in the lighting. And don't let anyone convince you otherwise!

product photography

Operating from a well equipped digital studio, we specialize in the photography of your products in a style suitable for a wide range of outputs such as company literature, advertising and websites. With a strong background in Graphic Design and over 10 years experience in the photography industry, we have the advantage of being better able to understand your requirements.

For creative shots, your products are carefully setup and photographed with lighting to achieve a very professional look.

Whether your requirements are for cost-effective (packshot) photography or creative photography we are confident that we will place your products in the right light! Just ship your products to us (with prior arrangement of course) or ask us to arrange collection and we will do the rest.

If you are jeweller and require jewellery photography services, we are only phone call away. Gold, silver, platinum, diamond and other gemstone studded jewellery photographed with due care and attention.

Or if you are a wine merchant, wholesaler or importer and require photography of bottles of wines and spirits for websites or catalogues, photographs that really make your products stand out among the competition, we are only couple of clicks away.

commercial photography

Photography on your business premises. We bring our equipment to your site (typically for a day) and shoot a vast number of images. We can cover the whole aspect of your business, be it products, commercial processes, buildings, architecture, employees at work or their portraits. The images selected by you are supplied on disc in both 72dpi and 300dpi resolution. These images would be suitable for a broad range of usage such as company literature, annual reports, brochures, point of sale material, newsletters, packaging and websites to name a few. Many years of experience enables us to effectively take pictures of exactly what you need in the way you want, and all without causing much disruption. All kinds of industrial photography assignments accepted.

Another aspect of commercial photography is Executive Portraiture. This is an option where your requirements may be for portraits of busy executives or directors. These can be individual portraits or group portraits, for example a board of directors. Since this will be a portrait session, we will bring only the necessary photography equipment for head shots, full length or groups which reduces the time taken to complete the session.

All kinds of industrial photography assignments accepted. Always keen to work with engineering, manufacturing, fabricating and similar industries.

Promotional Videos, Corporate Videos and Product Videos

Short and low-cost videos help to increase your turnover. Whether you business is product oriented or service based, our well made and well presented videos will give you just that edge you require to beat the competition. Online product videos showing your products from different angles can help you to achieve that sale.

event photography

Another service we offer is event photography. As we offer a number of different packages depending on the type of event, we are sure there is package suitable for your event. For example we can come to your event, set up our mobile studio and take portraits of your guests. This option may cost the organisers absolutely nothing and guests can view the photographs, order them and collect the prints at the end of the event at a price depending on the size of the print and quantity. The photographs can also be emailed to the guests at a much lower cost.

The above is also available as one of our print packages where the organiser pays for a selected quantity of prints which the guests can collect at the end of the event.

For photojournalistic type images as well as portraits, we have an hourly rate package, which may be suitable for some events. We shoot a large number of images which are provided on disc to the organisers.

photo manipulation & restoration

We have a full in-house digital retouching service utilising the latest Adobe Creative Suite 3 software on Apple Macintosh computers. Perhaps you have a photograph that is almost perfect except for something that is unwanted, want to add some "special effects" to your images or maybe the background needs changing, our in depth knowledge of programs such as Photoshop means we can apply the creative touch to your images.

We also offer photo retouching and restoration services. Using the latest in digital imaging technology we can bring your old photographs back to life. We can remove tears, creases, fold marks or signs of wear and tear from your photographs and provide you with a fresh new print.

Clipping paths or cut-outs is an option we offer, if you wish to place your products on different backgrounds or achieve a special effect.
